So you will really need to find out from NEC the specifics for how the phone gets its information. One from the relay agent on the untagged vlan and one broadcast hitting the server directly over the Dot1q port. All phones gave me the ACK error. That would be a question for NEC, however, you could have the switch mark the traffic on the ingress port. It all depends on the phone.
